Service Description

Provides physical, emotional, and educational support, monitors maternal and fetal vital signs, and can perform limited clinical tasks such as checking dilation or palpating the baby's position, especially in the early stages of labor at home. Once in a hospital or birth center, the montrice transitions to a doula role, focusing on non-clinical support as hospital staff handle medical care.
